Schenectady Bakery Closing Doors After 30 Years
There are a few things you don't mess with when it comes to Schenectady and one of those things is the quality of our Italian food. Sad news, though, we're going to have one less great Italian landmark this week.
Napoli Bakery on Guilderland Ave has announced through social media that after 30 years, they will be closing their doors, according to WNYT. They said:
It has always been important to us to be with family and it is a value that we greatly instilled in our children, so it is now time to retire and enjoy my children and grandbaby. We love you all and thank you.
The bakery has already announced that they have baked their last loaf of bread but will continue to stay open through the week until they run out of product. Also, any cake orders that were made before the announcement will be honored. In an update on their Facebook page, they announced their last day will officially be Friday, November 2 from 8:00am-4:00pm.
