Schenectady a Clue on Tuesday Night’s Jeopardy Game
You think you're just watching Jeopardy to find out if you know any of the random answers. Did you know the answer to this Capital Region clue from Jeopardy tonight?
I love Jeopardy. I love seeing just how many of the questions I can get right but I also love when I see something from the Capital Region show up. Everyone is sitting around their televisions watching the normal Jeopardy game waiting to see the "Greatest of All Time" episode. Little did they know that they were going to learn something about Schenectady.
Of course when you see the category as "Zip Codes," Schenectady has a very good chance of coming up. The clue was "The zip code 12345 in Schenectady, New York lights up this company that began operations there in 1892." Do you know it?
It's one of those random Capital Region trivia questions that everyone likes to prove that they know. General Electric not only has the zip code 12345 but is also known for getting letters for Santa who assume the North Pole's zip code is the same.
I don't know who wins the "Greatest of All Time Episode" and honestly, I don't even remember who won the episode with our clue but there's just something cool about seeing a national show mention your city.
