The rich get richer! Is Saratoga County getting a million dollar "destination playground'?

If funding goes according to plan, there's a proposed design for a nearly 10,000-square-foot, million-dollar, “destination playground” that would be built in Saratoga County starting sometime late next Summer or early Fall.

And this structure, which would be built by one of the most preeminemnt playground developers in the world, would be amazing!

According to a report by FoothillsBusinessDaily.Com, the Saratoga Springs’ Recreation Commission requested over $500,000 to help cover the over $1M needed to build a massive playground in Saratoga Springs at Veteran's Memorial Park between Geyser and Adams roads at their intersection with Cady Hill Boulevard.

The $1,035,000 project includes a nearly 30-foot-tall play unit, swing sets, an inclusive playground, a pavilion with picnic tables, a splash pad, accessible pathways, and planters and flora. -FoothillsBusinessDaily.com

If approved, the million dollar addition would be built by the Kompan Company, recognized as one of the world's leading manufacturers of playground equipment.

Here's what developers have in mind when they say they want to build a 'destination playground' in Saratoga Springs.
