Grafton Lakes State Park offers Long, Second, and Shaver Ponds chock-full of rainbow and brown trout, while pickerel, perch, and bass are plentiful in all ponds, including Mill Pond. And if you're after walleye, head over to the Martin-Durham Reservoir – they've got what you need.

Get Ready For Grafton Lakes State Park Trout Day!

On April 4th, Grafton Lakes State Park will host its annual Trout Day. It will be held from 10 am until 12:30 pm. Join the Department of Environmental Conservation in stocking Long Pond and Second Pond with trout. It's a hands-on experience you won't want to miss. Plus, enjoy trout-shaped treats, crafts, and educational booths highlighting the wonders of trout.

There's a ton to do for all ages. Once the ponds are stocked, kids under 16 can get a crash course in fishing. Just remember, if you're 16 or older, you'll need a valid NYS fishing license.

No need to RSVP – just head on over to the main entrance on Grafton Lakes State Park Way. It's three bucks per person, cash only, and kids five and under get in free. You can park at the Rabbit Run parking lot, and you're good to go!
