Rascal Flatts Stuns With Farewell Announcement

The guys from the legendary country group Rascal Flatts made a rather surprising announcement Tuesday morning.  They have one final tour planned in 2020 and after 20 incredibly successful years together, it will be their last.

In the stunning announcement made in an interview CBS This Morning earlier today Gary, Joe Don, and Jay expressed their love and gratitude for all the country music fans that have supported them over the years.  The Rascal Flatts Farewell: Life Is A Highway Tour will begin in June and wrap up in October and after two decades of smash hits, sold-out shows, the band formed in Ohio in 1999 will be saying goodbye.

The Capital Region was fortunate to have Rascal Flatts play here recently when they headlined GNA's Countryfest 2018 at SPAC a few summers ago.  As of now, there is no show scheduled in our immediate area on their farewell tour, but there are east coast dates on Long Island, Buffalo and Boston.
