There was quite the buzz going around the poker room at Rivers Casino in Schenectady yesterday as word got out that one of the worlds most successful (and annoying) poker players would be testing his skills at Rivers Casino in Schenectady.  Phil Hellmuth aka "The Poker Brat" will be whining and surely dining in the Capital Region for the "King of the Hill" heads-up poker tournnament.

The 2 night event will feature a series of "heads-up" winner take all, no-limit Texas hold em tournaments on August 22nd and 23rd. Four of the worlds greatest and most successful players will pony up 50K of their own cash, with the winner taking home a cool 200K; not bad for a few nights work! Plenty of poker enuthusiasts will be on hand in Schenectady to watch the action.  In addition, according to uspoker.com, Poker Night in America will be broadcasting the event on its Twitch channel.  The broadcast will be on a thirty-minute delay, similar to the most recent WSOP broadcast so that PNIA can show the players’ hole cards throughout the matches.
