Welcome Home! Bills Christen New Highmark Stadium With Huge Win
Yeah, It's Definitely the House That Josh Built
Call it Highmark Stadium if you want. After Thursday night, I’m calling it The House That Josh Built.
Yes, I know some Bills fans have had complaints about sightlines inside Buffalo’s brand-new stadium. I can’t speak to that. My sightline from the couch was FANTASTIC. And from home, the place looked absolutely incredible.
It’s big, loud, a little quirky, and unmistakably Buffalo. It looks and feels like it belongs there. And Holy Smokes, what a way to open it.

Bills Look Unbeatable in First Ever Game at Highmark
The Buffalo Bills defeated the Detroit Lions 41-31 Thursday night in the first regular-season game ever played at the new Highmark Stadium. Josh Allen made sure nobody will ever forget who owned opening night.
Allen accounted for five touchdowns, three through the air and two on the ground, while throwing for 248 yards and rushing for another 69. He even scored the first touchdown in the building’s regular-season history on Buffalo’s opening drive.
Best Player in the Game...
I don't think this is a hot take, because if you have eyes and spent even 30 minutes watching prime Josh Allen, he's without a doubt the best player in football, and I’m not sure it’s even debatable right now.
New stadium. National television. Five touchdowns. Bills win. For a building that Bills Mafia hopes will eventually host some unforgettable football moments, Opening Night set the bar ridiculously high.
