NY Knicks Legend to Appear at Crossgates Mall

John Starks, an all-time New York Knicks fan favorite, played on some great teams in the 1990s, and he'll be making an appearance in the Capital Region later this Summer.

While recent Knick teams, led by the outstanding play of Jalen Brunson, have grown in popularity over the last few years, longtime Knick fans have a genuine adoration and love for Starks and those Knicks teams from back in the day.

Back in the early 1990s, he was a key member of Knicks teams that had tremendous players such as Patrick Ewing, Charles Oakley, and Anthony Mason.

Starks, who wore number 3, was known for his exceptional three-point shooting and physical play, which helped the Knicks stay competitive during the Michael Jordan and Reggie Miller eras of the NBA.

It's been 30 years since "The Dunk"

Starks' New York Knick highlight reel moment is "The Dunk," which came during  Game 2 of the 1993 Eastern Conference Finals against the Chicago Bulls when he dunked on Horace Grant.
