A new "tiny" diner will soon be serving up breakfast and more in downtown Cohoes.

There is no such thing as having too many friends or too much money. I think the same applies to diners, the classic American eatery. So it is a big deal a new "tiny" one is set to open next week in Cohoes.

According to a Saratoga Living story, the Tiny Diney is set to celebrate its grand opening on Ontario Street in Cohoes next Friday, January 22nd, followed by a soft opening that weekend. The new diner will be in the same building where another former diner used to operate - Uncle John's. And  the name Tiny Diney is fitting: owner Robilee McIntrye told Saratoga Living "It's tiny." If McIntyre's name rings a bell, it could be because she also co-owns Footsy Magoo's Bar in Troy.

Tiny Diney does not have a website up and running yet, but they do have their Facebook page set up. I was not able to dig up a menu, but the Saratoga Living feature does say they will serve "breakfast classics" as well as "funkier breakfast options."
