‘Market With A Mission’ For Amsterdam

Amsterdam will soon be the home of a brand new market to buy your groceries.

It’s called Liberty Fresh Market, and will be operated by Liberty Montgomery County ARC.

They’re hoping to have it open by the end of the month or beginning of next month. Any profits from Liberty Fresh Market will be going back to people with special needs. The market, which be located on Route 30 across from Burger King, will be in a high traffic area for shoppers.

The market’s purpose is to help fill a help provide many opportunities and also a training center for people with special needs. In the story from WNYT, it’s being called a “Market with a mission”.

They also have a website and Facebook account. Even though they’re not open, yet, you can sign up for discounts with a Fresh Perks card.
