POSTPONED AGAIN! Free Ice Skating At Amsterdam WinterFest

It's winter in the Capital Region and there is a ton of stuff to do but the Amsterdam Winterfest has been postponed again due to mild weather. Winterfest will return sometime in February and there are many things planned including free ice skating.

The 2024 City of Amsterdam WinterFest is POSTPONED AGAIN!

The Amsterdam WinterFest was supposed to happen this weekend as the new date but mild temperatures have postponed the event once again. When the new date is announced it will be free to attend and enjoy this Alpin Haus-sponsored event. Ice skate for free! You are encouraged to bring your skates but there will be two hundred fifty pairs of ice skates to rent for free (sizes youth 5 to adult) courtesy of Cahill’s Sporting Goods of Troy.

Amsterdam WinterFest will be held at the Alpin Haus Ice Skating Rink at Veterans Park in Amsterdam.

Bring family and friends and enjoy ice skating from noon until 4 pm. There will be music, smores, and hot chocolate to stay warm thanks to Alpin Haus. There will be free hot dogs and hamburgers starting at 1 pm. They will also have giveaways throughout the day.
