Lou’s List Of Favorite Things Cooked On The Grill
With the unofficial start of summer this weekend, I know it’s grilling time in the Albany area. A lot of people have already grilled in the backyard, including me. Whether it’s a gas or charcoal grill, or an open fire while you’re camping, I think food tastes better when it’s cooked outside. It doesn’t have to be just lunch or dinner either.
Here's our chance to try that Grill Daddy that Richie Phillips reviewed, after all, the grill needs to be clean.
Make your list of grilling favorites, and head to Hannaford, Price Chopper or your favorite market. Here’s my list of foods to be grilled.

5) Hamburgers
This one’s pretty much the standard when it comes to grilling. Don't forget to bring the ketchup and mustard.
4) Hot Dogs
It’s another standard in the summertime. With the hot dogs and burgers, don’t forget to throw the rolls on the grill to toast them.
3) Bacon and eggs
Like I said, it’s not just lunch or dinner. Make sure that you have a frying pan that can be used on the grill. Throw the bread on the grill and toast it.
2) Chicken
Don’t forget the barbecue sauce. Grilled chicken is also one of those foods that are great to eat when it’s cold - Leftovers from the refrigerator.
1) Fresh Vegetables
We like to cut up squash, zucchini, onions, peppers and mushrooms, put them in aluminum foil. Add some butter, olive oil, salt and pepper. Wrap them up and toss them on the grill for about 15 minutes. You can probably put any mix of vegetables together that you like.
