This pandemic has put a ton of people in the Capital Region out of work. There is an Amazon warehouse that is looking to fill hundreds to a thousand positions. Here are the details. According to News 10 ABC, there is a demand for workers at the fulfillment center of Amazon in Schodack. There are many positions available for full-time and full benefits for over a thousand employees. Jobs include picking, packing, shipping, and other fulfillment operations for customer orders.
A spokesperson told News 10 ABC, that they have a million-square-foot facility in Schodack along with the state-of-the-art fulfillment center. There are many jobs available but fill up fast. They are also looking for other positions in their finance department, safety, HR, and more. They are encouraging those interested to sign up for text alerts. Jobs start at the fifteen dollar minimum wage and they offer comprehensive benefits that begin the day you start. There are incentive programs that pre-pay ninety-five percent of tuition for courses that are related to careers that are in demand.
The coronavirus pandemic has put a lot of people in the Capital Region out of work. This may be a great opportunity to get back to work and also get the extra incentive to go back to school to better your career.
