Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple issued a stern warning to the person(s) responsible for the heinous act of throwing a helpless kitten out a moving car over the weekend.

The Sheriff ain't playin' around, and quite frankly, who could blame him?  With all the stuff our local law enforcement deal with every day, it must be disheartening when you deal with people that don't own a shred of human decency.

According to the Times Union, Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple issued a very stern warning to the individual who tossed a kitten out of a car window on Sunday.  On his Facebook page, the incensed Sheriff, who said the incident took place on Rt. 144 in Coeymans, had this to say to the individual(s) responsible:

"To the degenerate who threw this little kitty out of your car on Rt 144 in Coeymans,we will check every security camera we can to find you! And thank you to the Good Samaritan for saving it! #jailisinyourfuture"

It's not clear where exactly the kitty is now, one individual did step up and his comments on Facebook suggest he has taken the kitten in, and she appears to me on the mend. The man, named  Chris Hollywood commented on the photo of the kitten shared by the sheriff and he says her name is "Althea."   Chris Hollywood also said on his page that he has taken the kitten in and she's "resting comfortably under my beard against my chest as I write this."
