It looks like another retail box store may be going out of business. It's the latest in the brick and mortar stores trying to keep up with online sales. Bed Bath & Beyond could be next to shut its doors. According to CNBC.com, Bed Bath & Beyond is going to be closing forty of its stores across the country to try and save the brand. They are hoping that if they shutter these stores, it will help increase revenue and enable them to keep the other stores open.

The company also added that they will close twenty of its other concept stores which include The Christmas Tree Shops. They say that most of the store closings will happen after the holiday shopping season in early 2020.

The company has not said which stores will be on the chopping block but there are three Bed Bath & Beyond stores in the Capital Region; in Saratoga Springs, Albany, and Glenmont. The is also a location in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
