Latham Restaurant Closing

There is another restaurant closing in the Capital Region. This was one of my favorites for barbecue, ribs and smoked food. Sad to see it's closing.

According to the Times Union, The Bull and Barrel Smokehouse Grill in Latham will close its doors on Saturday, June 16. I know this may sound crazy, but not only did they have amazing barbecue, their homemade smoked blue cheese dressing was to die for. They had their smokers right outside and made everything on premises. I am really going to miss their delicious smokehouse.

There was no reason given for the sudden shutdown. They had been open since October of 2014. It was off of the beaten path, located near the airport service road off of Wade Road in Latham. Not sure if that may have been a factor.

I sure will miss The Bull and Barrel and so will my taste buds.
