The last couple of days we have been talking about the "rift" that seems to be happening with today's country music artists. You know I wrote about  the comments made by Zac Brown about Luke Bryan's song, "That's my kind of night", and Bethany talked about similar remarks made by Gary Allen about the state of country music today. It seems there are the "traditionalists" and the "pop country" crowd.

Today on the show we had a chance to talk to Justin Moore as he came on to talk to us primarily about the release of his new CD, "Off The Beaten Path" which came out yesterday.

I of course could not resist asking him where he falls on the state of country music and the comments that have been going back and forth form the artists. Justin with all his small town charm did not let me down in the honesty department.

I have always been a fan of his willingness to be as open as you want him to be but still find a way to be diplomatic. If you missed the interview this morning here is a clip of Justin Moore talking about the Zac and Luke situation and what is and what isn't good for country music. (all you have to do is click on the triangle).

I tell ya, you can't help but like that guy! What do you think?
