Man Intentionally Crashes Truck Into 5 New York State Police Vehicles
New York man intentionally crashes his pickup truck into 5 different New York State Police vehicles and lives to tell about it.
New York State Troopers involved in the traffic stop turned chase used a "stinger device" to bring the pickup truck to a stop. A stinger device is a portable, reusable tool that will pop your tires so they deflate. This technique is a safe way to slow a vehicle, preventing a blowout, and bringing the vehicle to a stop.

According to a press release, on Wednesday February 11th around 3pm, a New York State Trooper attempted to stop a 2010 Ford pickup traveling on State Route 82 in the Town of Livingston for violations of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law. The driver failed to comply, and a pursuit began as the vehicles entered the Taconic State Parkway.

- Five counts of Criminal Mischief 2nd
- Three counts of Assault 2nd
- Three counts of Attempted Assault 2nd
- Driving While Intoxicated
