Halloween is all about the costumes and trick or treating, but let’s be honest, the candy is what everyone’s really here for. The only real debate is which candy rules them all, and the latest rankings might surprise you.

According to a DoorDash survey, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are still the undisputed champion. It’s been a big year for chocolate, too, with M&M’s and Snickers holding strong and Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars sneaking into the top three. Even Sour Patch Kids and Skittles made the top ten, showing that a lot of us are feeling nostalgic for those classic treats we grew up with.

But when it comes to New York State, things get interesting. DoorDash says Twizzlers take the top spot here based on what people are actually ordering and getting delivered. Candy.com, however, claims Sour Patch Kids are the real New York favorite. So who’s right? Maybe it depends on whether you’re craving something chewy and sweet or sour and punchy.

In the end, it really doesn’t matter which candy wins. Whether it’s Kit Kat, Reese’s, Hershey bars, Snickers, or anything covered in chocolate, it’s all good. And if you want to be the neighborhood favorite this Halloween, skip the fun size and hand out the full bars.
