Before I was old enough to legally drive my dad would let my sister and I drive his car around the back roads of Dutchess County. Nearly every one of those drives would end up at Four Brothers Pizza, 4957 Route 22 in Amenia.

Four Brothers has become so magical the movie stars themselves have visited. In 2023 actor Ethan Hawke took in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and in 2025 Liam Neeson made a special guest appearance while introducing his film, the Naked Gun.

The original restaurant, which opened in 1978, is very much as I remember it. Everything else on the property has been added from the outside deck, a snack shack that will take you back in time, to mini-golf and of course the drive-in theater.
