The Buffalo Bills did not have a good day on Sunday. They lost 25-20 against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. The game was Buffalo's first in London since 2015.

The Bills' offense took three-plus quarters to get going but the bigger storyline for Bills fans and the media are the injuries the Bills suffered.

Star linebacker Matt Milano and defensive tackle DaQuan Jones were both lost in the first quarter. Milano with a knee/leg injury and Jones with a pectoral injury. Head coach Sean McDermott said both injuries "don't look good," but said they don't know yet definitively what the extent of both injuries are.

Dion Dawkins, Ed Oliver and Taron Johnson also missed plays in the game due to more minor injuries. Johnson's looked as serious as Milano's at first but the star cornerback was able to get back in the game a drive later.

After the game, Johnson opened up and gave an honest assessment of the NFL's turf in London.

Johnson wants the turf in London removed and says that every player in the NFL wants to play on grass.

"I think that turf is terrible. My foot got stuck in the ground, but I'm okay, thank God."

Johnson added.

"Take that turf out, especially that one. I would rather be playing on grass, I'm sure 90-100 percent of the NFL players would rather play on grass. I don't know why we're playing on stuff like that; there were injuries on the field today, some of them really really bad...I just feel like the turf has something to do with it."

There have been notable injuries to players, involving knees, ankles and Achilles, which many have pointed blame on the field turf the NFL uses in many of its stadiums. The turf in London has been the target of criticism, dating back to last year, which happened to be a game that Minnesota Vikings safety Lewis Cine broke his leg after getting his foot stuck in the London turf.

There's a major calling for the NFL to get back to grass surfaces.
