I don't have to tell anyone how bad things are in Joplin, Missouri.

Over One Hundred Dead As Major Tornado Devastates Joplin, Missouri
loading...

This is all thanks to the nation's deadliest single twister in nearly 60 years and the second major tornado disaster in less than a month. Jake had a blog about it, too.

AP telling us that a half-mile-wide tornado killed at least 116 people, plus just about destroying St. John's Regional Medical Center, where they also had five patients die. The hospital's windows all blew out and lost it's two top floors during the storm. The pictures that I've seen are beyond words. My heart goes out to all the people who had to endure the devastation and loss.

A little over a month ago it was the tsunami in Japan, and now it's here at home, in the United States. People have been asking how they can help. All you need to do is contact the American Red Cross.
