As we celebrate dad this weekend, here is a recipe that is sure to please. It's my fiancee Jenn's hot stuffed banana peppers recipe. Add a bit of heat for dad this Sunday. Jenn is an amazing cook. She loves to create new dishes and master the ones she already knows how to make. Her hot stuffed banana peppers recipe is my favorite. It only takes a few ingredients and you can utilize your coronavirus mask and gloves to ensure your safety while creating her masterpiece.

Here are the ingredients you will need:

  • six to ten Hungarian wax peppers
  • plain cream cheese
  • plain bread crumbs
  • whole milk ricotta cheese
  • Italian blend shredded cheese

Before you are set to clean the peppers, it is recommended for you to wear a mask and gloves in case the banana peppers are hot. You can't tell if they are until you slice them open.

  • Clean and slice Hungarian wax peppers from top to bottom. Clean all the seeds out from the inside as they are the “heat”.
  • Mix 1 cup of ricotta per 1 brick of cream cheese and 1/2 cup of Italian blend shredded cheese...mix in garlic powder to taste in a large bowl.
  • Stuff the peppers with cheese mix
  • Pour olive oil equally over the bottom of the pan....you want the peppers to roast in the oil.
  • Sprinkle bread crumbs on top

These don't last very long in our house because they are so delicious. The only problem with the peppers is that you never know if they are going to be really spicy or not. This batch wasn't hot at all which made us eat more. This is such a great dish to make your dad this weekend.
