Here’s How To Get A Free Pint of Stewart’s Ice Cream & Save a Life!

There is always an urgent need for blood donations in the Capital Region. Now if you give blood, you will be rewarded with a delicious pint of Stewart's ice cream or gelato. It's that time of year again for the "Give a Pint, Get a Pint" program.

What is the "Give a Pint, Get a Pint" Program?

This is the seventh year that Stewart's Shops has teamed up with the American Red Cross to help increase blood donations in Upstate New York. For the entire month of June, if you donate blood in any of the participating twenty-six counties in Upstate New York, you will be treated to a free pint of your favorite Stewart's ice cream or gelato. You will get a voucher that can be redeemed at any Stewart's location.

There is Always a High Demand For Blood Donors

The American Red Cross needs to collect enough blood for accidents, heart surgery, organ donation, burn victims, and those that are being treated for cancer, leukemia, or sickle cell disease according to News 10 ABC. The startling statistic is that someone is in need of blood every two seconds!

Stewart's Shops Are Proud to Be Part of This Drive

The President of Stewart's Shops, Gary Dake, says:

This is one of our favorite campaigns because we are helping people in need of lifesaving blood. When you give a pint, you’ll get a pint of Stewart’s ice cream. And what’s better than ice cream in the summer?

By the way, Gary Dake is a blood donor as well.
