Stewart’s Rolls Out New Flavors for Iconic Venue & Maple Season
Two upstate New York favorites are giving us even more reasons to make a Stewart’s run right now. Between a creative local collaboration with an iconic venue and a maple-packed seasonal release, a lot is happening in the ice cream aisle.
First up, Stewart's Shops has teamed up with The Egg for a limited edition flavor that feels perfectly local. It was created to honor the reopening of the Egg in downtown Albany. It is called Mint Cookie EGGcellence, and yes, the name is as fun as it sounds. Think classic mint ice cream loaded with chocolate cookie pieces, a twist on Stewart’s beloved Mint Cookie Crumble.

You can find it in shops across Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schoharie, Greene, Columbia, and Ulster Counties through April 5th. Even better, Stewart’s will be scooping it at The Egg’s free open house on March 14th after Albany’s St. Patrick’s Day parade. It is the first open house since the venue reopened following renovations, which makes the celebration even sweeter.
At the same time, Stewart’s is leaning into maple season with another limited edition pint, Sugar Shack Swirl. This one features creamy vanilla ice cream with a rich maple swirl that tastes as if it came straight from a sugar shack. It is basically spring in a bowl.
And considering Stewart’s makes more than four million gallons of ice cream each year using its award-winning milk, you know they take this seriously.
Between Mint Cookie EGGcellence and Sugar Shack Swirl, you might need to clear some extra freezer space.
