Great Escape Going ‘Desperado Plunge’ For Workers-Offering Bonuses
The Great Escape is such a fun place to visit but they have been having a tough time getting people to work. They even had to reduce their hours because of a lack of employees. They are now closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Now they are offering higher wages and bonus incentives in hopes of attracting more workers.
According to the Post Star, if you are hired by the Great Escape you could earn $16.50 to start with a bonus incentive that is being offered through Labor Day. If you continue to work through the fall, you would be able to get an increase in pay. There is also the opportunity to work Fright Fest with some of those jobs paying twenty dollars per hour. Fright Fest is pretty awesome. Some actors that are hired are literally paid to scare the crap out of parkgoers. They are currently looking for actors, entertainers, security, food service, ride operators, and show techs. Get more info HERE.
There is a nationwide worker shortage and in the Capital Region, we are lacking hundreds of exchange students that fill a ton of jobs at the Great Escape. This was due to pandemic travel restrictions. If you are interested in working at the Great Escape, they will be holding weekly job fairs on Tuesdays from 3 pm to 7 pm and Saturdays from 11 am to 2 pm through September. You must be 16 or older to apply. You can apply for any of the positions online by clicking HERE.
