Good News For Save-A-Lot In Fort Plain
The people in The Village Of Fort Plain have been through some tough times this year.
Save-A-Lot In Fort Plain
A lot of it was due to flooding back in the end of June, 2013. Even though there are still some that are still trying to recover, this may help them see a light at the end of the tunnel.
On Wednesday September 18, 2013, the Save-A-Lot supermarket on River Street reopened. News 10 ABC had a story about how excited and happy the residents were about the reopening of the store.
There’s still some work to be done. This was considered a soft opening, and there will be a Grand Reopening in October. Fort Plain is about 50 miles west of the Albany area.
GNA's Richie Phillips did a song about Fort Plain back in July, 2013.
I’m always happy to pass along good news.
