Goat Yoga is Back, In a Big Way, Here’s Where to Sign-Up [VIDEO]
I'm sure you laughed when I first talked about it, and again when Brian mentioned that his son gave it a try but new year, new you and goat yoga is back in the Capital Region!
Apparently, there's a goat yoga franchise based in Oregon and it's coming to Upstate New York so expect more opportunities for goat yoga than ever before. Goat Yoga, according to New York Upstate, will start its first New York franchise in the spring at 4 J's Farm, on High Meadow Road in Averill Park.
So far the owner, Lainey Morse, doesn't have an exact date when the franchise classes will be starting but they're aiming for the first week of April, ending in the fall. One session will be $35 for 30 minutes with no more than 30 people.
Classes, of course, will depend on weather conditions and will include around 10 goats from babies to adults about 40 pounds. If you've never done it, it's pretty funny. Goats are such unique animals and it's not out of the realm of possibility to have a goat jump on your back or walk under you during a Downward Dog.
