Free Ride For America’s Heroes On Veterans Day

Veterans Day is Tuesday, November 11, and the Capital District Transportation Authority  is saying “thank you” to our Veterans that live in our community.

CDTA will be offering free rides to any Veteran or Active Military personnel who show their identification card on Veterans Day. The veterans can ride for free on all fixed-route and Para-transit or STAR service.

According to a press release from CDTA, if any veterans receive disability benefits and show their Medicare card or half fare ID card can ride CDTA buses for half fare.

What a great way to say “thank you” to the people that have served and are still serving our country.
