Veterans are some of the most important people in our society. The men and women who served our country have sacrificed everything to ensure freedom and a better future for America.

Unfortunately, when they return home, they aren't given as many opportunities to succeed as they deserve, which is why Albany is trying to set things right.

VETCON Returns to Albany

First starting in 2016, VETCON is a conference that stands for the professional growth and educational development of veterans across America. From massive networking opportunities and educational sessions, to discussions with state agencies and industry leaders, VETCON is an event by veterans, for veterans.

This conference is vital to so many veterans, as they may not have been given the opportunities they need to succeed in this ever changing world. By meeting with these industry leaders, they can build a robust portfolio and find the employment or education they're looking for.

What to Know About VETCON 2025

This years conference will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, December second and third at the Crowne Plaza Desmond Hotel in Albany. The conference will contain a Business Plan Competition, which allows veteran business owners to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges for a chance at a cash prize.

There will also be Veterans in Business Awards given out to service disabled veterans who have gone above and beyond in their community. You can REGISTER ONLINE NOW on eventbrite, and find out more information about the upcoming convention at the VETCON website.
