The Passenger

The incident occurred on Saturday, July 11th. At around 8:50 p.m. a CDTA bus picked up a passenger on Central Avenue in Albany. The driver thought something was wrong until he noticed that the passenger had suffered a gunshot wound.

The driver notified the Albany Police Department, who responded to Central Avenue and Quail Street. They then located the victim, a 33-year-old male, who was suffering from gunshot wounds to the arm and chest. He was treated by the Albany Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services before being transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital. He arrived in stable condition.

What Happened?

After further investigation by Albany Police, it was determined that he had obtained the wounds during a shooting incident at the McDonald's at 391 Central Avenue.
