Former NASCAR Driver Mike Wallace Attacked After Concert

Former NASCAR driver Mike Wallace and his family were attacked this weekend after attending a Rascal Flatts concert in Charlotte.

It happened Friday night as Wallace and his family were leaving the Rascal Flatts concert.  According to WSCO.TV, Wallace, his wife and daughter were leaving the concert when they got into a confrontation with three men.  The men were yelling at him then started to beat him.  Wallace’s daughter Lindsay, was trying to protect her father when she too was attacked.  She suffered minor injuries.

Wallace was hospitalized after the attack with a concussion, three broken teeth and multiple stitches.

According to multiple news outlets, the three men arrested in connection with the attack are Paul Lucas, Nathan Lucas, and Randolph Mangum.  Nathan Lucas and Mangum were charged with misdemeanor simple assault, while Paul Lucas was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female. All were released after posting bond.
