Five Guys Burger and Fries Coming To Colonie Center

Five Guys Burgers and Fries is one of my favorite places to get a great burger, and they’re opening in another Albany area location – Colonie Center.

They’ve been in the area for quite some time. My brother and sister-in-law got my wife, Linda, and I hooked on their burgers, when they took us to lunch at the Mohawk Commons location, in Niskayuna. As time went on, we began to see their stores open up in a few more Capital Region locations. Being a resident of Colonie, this one made me very happy.

They have 15 burger toppings on their menu, so the combinations are many. Something that you may want to keep in mind, is that the fires are cooked in peanut oil, so if you are allergic to peanuts, you may want to avoid them.

Five Guys will be located at the entrance of the Regal Cinema, on the lower level of the mall. The plan is to open before the end of the year.

I know that nothing beats a burger cooked outside, in the summertime, like at Jacks in Wynantskill and Jumpin’ Jacks in Scotia, but what are your favorite Albany area places to get a burger?
