On Saturday morning, a fire on Flat Creek Road in Canajoharie destroyed a home and left four people without a place to live.

According to a press release from The American Red Cross, they are helping two adults and two children, ages 4 and 9. The Red Cross has been helping the victims with shelter, clothes and food.

The Red Cross is always there to help people get their lives back in order after disasters happen. They assist people 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and it’s all made possible through generous donations from the public. They also could use help from people like you, to volunteer.
