Veterans Day was yesterday and though they deserve the attention they get on that one day, they should have more. If you're looking to continue to help and appreciate the Veterans, here are some local organizations to look in to.

I was looking for a good news story to end the morning show with yesterday and couldn't help but stop at this one. A little girl wanted a "Paw Paw" so she adopted one, reminds me of college when I pretty much did the same thing.

On Saturday morning, a fire on Flat Creek Road in Canajoharie destroyed a home and left four people without a place to live.

Have you ever heard the term before? Do-gooder? I've always heard it used oddly as a NEGATIVE term! Never understood that. How could doing good for others be anything but a positive? Isn't it something we should all strive for?   Well, hopefully we can change the perception. I present a new running series of blogs- the Sean and Richie Do-Gooders of the Week. Well, our latest WGNA radiothon is history.  Our collaboration with the Center For Disability Services in Albany and local station Fox 23 was a big big success.  And we all have big smiles on our faces this morning.
