Here's what's happening. According to News 10 ABC, they are switching things up to accommodate the coronavirus guidelines while still highlighting Troy. It's now Troy Night In. In an effort to still get the Troy economy stimulated, they are hoping that viewers will shop virtually online like they would have if they were going to Troy Night Out.

Here's how it works. This Friday, which would normally be the big night that people would be out shopping and exploring downtown Troy, you will be able to do that all online. You can link up to the Troy Night Out Facebook page. There are many local retailers that will offer deals through their individual websites and apps.

Katie Hammond from the Downtown Troy Business Improvement District had this to say about the change.

"Purchase a gift card or shop online with retailers and order food to go with delivery and takeout options offered through many downtown bars and restaurants. In the need for entertainment? Businesses are getting creative by offering virtual events, webinars and concerts all online. Discover ways that you can engage with downtown businesses and help them through this difficult time.”
