Did Patti Labelle Really Get Arrested After A Fist Fight with Aretha Franklin?

An article from thenewsnerd.com claims that legendary divas Patti Labelle and Aretha Franklin are in a battle that ended in March with a fist fight that landed Labelle in the slammer!  A quote from the article states -

"Labelle was quickly apprehended by the Atlanta Police Department and charged with assault and battery. She was released on a $10,000 bail and will appear in court on April 16th."

 

Upon further inspection, I have found this article to be a hoax.  Thank goodness!  I can handle these two throwing shade toward each other, but I certainly can't handle a fist fight and assult and battery!

The two ladies did have a bit of a disagreement in March at a taping of a television special, but they acted their ages and walked away.  Don't worry, there's still a mutual RESPECT between them.  (Haha, see what I did there!)
