I am a die-hard Jets fan but this season it has been fun to root for the Bills. It makes it easier because my son, Ryan, and Jenn are from Buffalo and a huge part of Bills Mafia. It is an understatement to say that our household was devastated at the overtime loss this weekend. What a rollercoaster of a season for the Buffalo Bills and their fans. I was on the bandwagon because my household was so invested. When the Bills made the playoffs there were high hopes in our house. Then came Saturday, time for some Bills football in the postseason.

We weren't home for the first half because Ryan had his own football game, but I was following and giving him the updates throughout. I kind of wish we watched the first half and not the second half and overtime. It was stressful for all of us.

The Buffalo Bills are an easy team to root for, but a hard team to believe that they can pull off the win. I found myself cheering so loudly and screaming along with Ryan at the game at times. I will say this, I have created a true football fan. The kid is passionate and yells, claps and calls plays at the top of his lungs. I guess I can't be mad that he loves his Buffalo Bills. I just wish they would have won so he could have gone to bed happy than devastated.

There is a silver lining, we are all happy that the Patriots won't be in the Superbowl this year. So there's that.
