I have to say my favorite track to watch a Nascar race from is Bristol, but Darlington is a close second. Darlington, South Carolina is a small town that literally bursts at the seams when 100,000 Nascar fans converge on it. You can't find a hotel room with 100 miles of the town when they have a race. It's literally Christmas for the small town each year. The track is steep in history and bears the nickname "The Lady in Black." Heading into the race Jimmie Johnson is the Sprint Cup points leader with Matt Kenseth and second and Dale Earnhardt Jr. jumping back up to third. The race will be under the lights this Saturday night at 6:45pm on Fox, locally WXXA 23. I hope Tony Stewart kicks butt this week and I have a new slogan this season for Nascar and that is ABJJ (Anybody But Jimmie Johnson). LOL!
