Craving Cajun? New Spot in Troy Serves All The Southern Goodness!
There's a new Louisiana-style seafood restaurant in Rensselaer County and fans of cajun cuisine here in the Capital Region seem to be ragin' over it!
You don't have to be from the south if you're craving some downhome Cajun cooking, but if you live in Upstate New York, it might be hard to find.
Having just opened their third Capital Region restaurant in November of 2021, the owners of the new Union Seafood at 120 Hoosick Street in Troy are bringing the boil across the river.
Currently, the owners of Union Seafood have two other locations, one in Albany and one in Schenectady.
Serving tasty southern cuisines like boiled crawfish, crab legs, lobster, shrimp, corn, and more, Union Seafood offers all sorts of southern goodness so we can get our hands dirty, and our grub on!
Foodies throughout the Capital Region have shown Upstate hospitality - and lots of love - to the restaurant that specializes in Louisiana delights.
On the Facebook group 518 Foodies, one user asked if anyone had been to the newest spot on Hoosick Street, and that question was quickly responded to.
"I’m from Louisiana and I come here when I’m craving a spicy crawfish boil. it’s delicious. Their bubble tea is really good as well," said one woman.
Another user, a man added, "I've had their lemon pepper wings, chicken and rice, fried chicken wings as well as other foods and the food was good. Give it a try folks."
