Bud Light Country Night once again saw hundreds of line dancers and dozens of great singers pack Vapor in Saratoga Casino and Raceway on April 26. The countdown is on to the $5,000 grand prize for Thursday, June 21.

The evening started with a packed dance floor thanks to the hot line dance hits 'Good Girl' 'Rhinestone Cowboy Remix' 'Let The Cowboy Rock' and 'Banjo.' Then, judges Scott Blaine, Richie Phillips and Tony from the New York Players took their seats, in front of the stage, for another round of auditions for Country Idol 2012.

A tie for fifth place resulted in six finalists, Carol Brudige easily made the top with a slick version of the Patsy Cline classic 'Leavin' On Your Mind.' Shannon Sinico made the judges eyes pop when she performed Lady Antebellum's 'American Honey.' Charlie Michaels, who not only sounded but somewhat looked like Gary Allan, did an almost perfect delivery of Allan's 'Watching Airplanes.' Sabrina Gogen commanded everyone's attention on Carrie Underwood's 'Undo It.' McKenzie Sivret proudly owned the stage with her version of Miranda Lambert's 'Baggage Claim.' Meanwhile, Jason Halse Fitzpatrick incorporated line dance moves, engaged the crowd, and even got the judges bopping along to the Tractor's 'Baby Likes To Rock It.'

If you think you've got what it takes, there is one last chance left to get qualified on Thursday, May 24. The top five contestants from each month will be invited to perform at the finals on Thursday, June 21. You can pre-register at www.wgna.com or in person between 7-8pm.
