Melrose Couple Wins CMA Trip At Vapor

WGNA and Budweiser presented one lucky listener with a free trip to the CMA Awards at the Country Idol finale at Vapor in Saratoga Casino and Raceway on Thursday, June 12.

The lucky winner was Richard Jadlos of Melrose, New York. We chatted with Richard's wife Debbie about winning the big trip to Country Music's Biggest Night!

Q: How often do you attend Budweiser Country Night at Vapor?

A: I have been attending Country Night at Vapor with Rick (who's the WINNER...) since I started line dancing almost 2 years ago. I go for the line dancing and bring Rick with me but HE WON'T dance. For him, he enjoys the country music and loves to mingle. Plus it doesn't hurt that we have the Casino :0) too!

Q: What was the first thing you thought when you won the Grand Prize?

A: First off, you can't believe it...then you get so EXCITED! He was kidding about winning, but when Rick's name was called he was SPEECHLESS.

Q: Who do you hope to see at the CMA Awards?

A: It's always great to see the fancy clothes and hear the music. The most exciting thing will be going to Nashville!
