Country Idol Karaoke

As usual the dance floor was packed at Vapor in Saratoga Casino for Bud Light Country Night. Line dancers scooted to the hottest country hits like 'I Don't Want This Night To End' by Luke Bryan, 'Good Girl' by Carrie Underwood, and 'Let The Cowboy Rock' by Ronnie Dunn. Then, came the big moment of the night, the final round of auditions for Country Idol.

Bud Light Country Night once again saw hundreds of line dancers and dozens of great singers pack Vapor in Saratoga Casino and Raceway on April 26. The countdown is on to the $5,000 grand prize for Thursday, June 21.

The 2012 Country Idol Karaoke Show is now headed into the final stretch. The third month of "auditioning" was another great spotlight of talent competing to claim the $5,000 grand prize on June 21.

The 2012 season of Country Idol Karaoke is off to a great start at Vapor in Saratoga Casino and Raceway. The February session brought us a mix of singers that ranged from outstanding to surprising, and of course the usual mediocre performances.

In 2011, GNA presented a check to Bobby Kendall of Lake George for $5,000.  Kendall sang Lee Brice's 'Love Like Crazy' and Zac Brown Band's 'Colder Weather', and in the end, impressed the judges and won the cash!

The 2012 season of Country Idol Karaoke is about to begin! WGNA and Vapor will host monthly competitions leading up to the June 21 finale. 20 contestants will have the chance to sing on the big stage for a grand prize of $5,000.

Last Month WGNA hosted the Country Idol Karaoke finals at Vapor in the Saratoga Casino and Raceway. During that show, Host Kevin Richards told the contestants that they all made it to the finals for a reason. They were all full of talent and even if they don't make the  Top 5 or win to not let it stop their dream. He mentioned how artists like Miranda Lambert and Kellie Pickler didn't win Nashvill

WGNA hosted the biggest talent search in the Northeast with 2011's Country Idol Karaoke show at Vapor in Saratoga Casino and Raceway.  At the finale, 20 finalists were narrowed down to the top five.  Those five lucky singers were featured on a special edition of LOOK-TV's music special, TRAX.

I was one of the guest judges for the finals of the Country Idol Karaoke Competition at Vapor last night. It was a great night of music and full of talent.

Thursday, June 16 WGNA will conclude it's search for a star with the Country Idol Karaoke Finals at Vapor in Saratoga Casino and Raceway.  As the top singers perform to win $5,000, you're invited to cheer on your favorite and be a part of a live TV taping for LOOK-TV.

The final round of Country Idol Karaoke was held at Vapor in Saratoga Casino and Raceway on May 19.  The night was filled with awesome voices and Northeast Country hopefuls dreaming of hitting the big stage to win $5,000 and a performance spot on Fox 23's Center For Disability Services Telethon.
