Birthdays:

Clint Black, 1962.  Born in New Jersey, but raised in Houston, Clint breaks through with four number one hits in a row in 1989 with "Better Man," "Killin' Time," "Nobody's Home" and "Walkin' Away."  Clint also wins the CMAs Horizon Award in 1989 and the Male Vocalist of the Year Award in 1990.

Deaths:

Jethro Burns, 1989.  Jethro is half of the comedy act Homer and Jethro.
