2009- Clint Black wins $20,000 for charity as the project manager for the winning team on an episode of NBC's "The Celebrity Apprentice." Clint makes it to task 11, and has several conflicts with fellow competitor Joan Rivers, before being "fired."

1997- George Strait begins a five-week run at the top of the Billboard country chart with 'One Night At A Time.'  The song is co-written by ex-Ricochet member, Eddie Kilgallon.

1980- Grand Ole Opry favorite Dottie West hits No. 1 with 'A Lesson In Leavin''


Jay DeMarcus, 1971.  The Bass player from Columbus, Ohio develops Rascal Flatts with cousin Gary LeVox and friend Joe Don Rooney.
