Local “Pet Detective” June’s Hometown Hero (AUDIO)
County Waste has partnered with us to honor those in our communities who are truly making a difference and Josh Grassi from Clifton Park is truly one-of-a-kind. He loves animals so much, his spends countless hours (and his own resources) tracking down and locating lost pets.
All throughout 2019, we will be recognizing one “hero” per month based on their inspirational feats, work helping their neighbors, and everyday passion.
This month we honor Josh Grassi, an animal lover from Clifton Park, NY. Josh's longtime friend (and nominator), Lea, says Josh puts his whole heart into rescuing and finding lost pets and hurt animals -- both wild and domestic.
Josh operates a Facebook page in this pursuit called Clifton Park Pet Search. He has devoted and volunteered his time and energy to helping reunite lost beloved pets with their humans not only in Clifton Park, but all around the Region from Galway to Scotia and beyond.
This month we honor you, Josh -- the gift you give local pet owners and fellow animal lovers is irreplaceable. Click here to see how you can nominate a hero for the month of July, and stay tuned for our special way of saying thanks below.
