This is the weekend to get out in downtown Saratoga to celebrate the season and Halloween.

So many events and fun things to do with the family have been canceled during the pandemic, so it is nice to pass along something that IS happening to celebrate fall and Halloween.

The Saratoga Springs Downtown Business Association is holding their fall fest this Friday through Saturday and this event will include a lot of fun for the whole family. The cool part is you can experience some of it in person, or virtually via Facebook live. There will be a downtown pumpkin hunt with some great prizes up for grabs, some restaurants will have some great specials up for grabs and the Headless Horseman will be downtown. If you are more inclined to enjoy a virtual experience, Joe Haedrich (Author of Haunted Saratoga) will be telling ghost stories about the Adelphi Hotel, Olde Bryan Inn, and the Arcade Building on the Downtown Saratoga Springs Facebook live.

The coolest part of this whole weekend may be the haunted stories, which you can simply enjoy from the comfort of wherever you may watch. You can get your Halloween scare on and probably learn a little more about Saratoga's rich history along the way. And if you scare easily, the virtual aspect is probably a great thing!
