I remember hearing or seeing a news story at some point in my past of a person becoming suddenly ill behind the wheel of their vehicle while driving on the Northway and the amazing way they got themselves to safety. It freaked me out.

They say that your time in high school is considered to be some of the best years of your life and I was lucky enough to spend mine at Notre Dame- Bishop Gibbons in Schenectady (Class of 2006). I was crushed to find out that someone came to my school and set the field house on fire but luckily they're moving forward.

Brian, Chrissy & I like to end every show with a good news story. It's one way to not only end the show on a happy note but to hopefully start your day with a smile. I look for and wide for local good news or just anything that puts a smile on my face to share, this morning I found this little boy.

Like any homeowner, I have some projects that need to get done. Some I have the opportunity to do all on my own with the little free time that I have. Others, well, I'm no carpenter. I lack the tools, the knowledge, the mathematical skills to make some projects come to life. Okay, let me rephrase that, maybe not "come to life" but I lack the necessary skills for them to be done right. Ye

Some times I'll stumble over to YouTube and throw in some of our local cities and towns just to see what pops up. You never know what you may have missed around the Capital Region or even just some of the beauty that we have around us.

I am always in awe when I go to visit the Saratoga National Cemetery. My grandfather and grandmother Cavotta are both buried there. My grandfather served in the Navy during World War II. When we had their funerals, it was such an amazing tribute and a touching ceremony.

You may or may not know that Ryan was a foster child. Jenn went through the classes and the process of fostering and when Ryan was just seven weeks old, he entered her life. I will admit that it was a roller coaster ride with very high highs and some low lows.

April 22nd is Earth Day and many people will be helping to better the environment and cleaning up around their neighborhoods. But did you know that many retailers offer discounts for Earth Day?
