Casino And Hard Rock Hotel Coming To Rensselaer? Could Be!

Looks like it's a very strong possibility according to news from the Albany Business Review.

According to the article, the chairman of the Hard Rock International announced that they are working on a plan to possibly put up a fancy-fancy hotel and casino in Rensselaer.  It would be right across the Hudson from the City of Albany. Do you believe this?

I'm a little confused, to be honest.  I just read within the last couple of days that it looked like East Greenbush was getting it, but I guess the contractors love Rensselaer because it's very central to the area and it's right along the river, so the access would be great

Boy, it could TOTALLY transform the entire downtown area along with Rensselear if you think about it! What are YOUR thoughts?
