‘Bond 24′ Casts Lea Seydoux in Femme Fatale Role, Still Has No Official Title
While the newest James Bond movie still has no official title, that hasn't kept it from moving full-speed ahead, with Daniel Craig reprising the role of Agent 007 for Bond's 24th outing. The latest development has French actress and 'Blue Is the Warmest Color' star Lea Seydoux joining the cast in the role of a femme fatale -- someone who could make things quite complicated (and perhaps a bit sexy) for our suave protagonist.
According to The Daily Mail, Seydoux has signed on to play an unnamed femme fatale role in the untitled 'Bond 24' film. She'll join her fellow cast members at table reads in November, and take some time to develop her character's look and tone before they begin shooting the new film in December. Let's hope they decide on a title by then -- then again, the more we type it, 'Bond 24' is beginning to sound catchy. To hell with it. Let's just call the thing 'Bond 24.'
Along with Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, and Ben Whishaw are all reprising their roles in the newest entry. 'Skyfall' helmer Sam Mendes will also return to once again sit in the director's chair.
'Bond 24' will hit theaters on November 6, 2015, with or without a title.
